The origin story of this newsletter has been the steady stream of asks for intros that I, like most of you, receive every day. In my infinite laziness, I decided that the efficient way to respond to these asks would be a newsletter. Everything is subject to change, but there are two ground rules: this newsletter will always be free, and there will be no pay to play action. Capitalism is all well and good, but I want to make room for something pure. My purpose is to bring women together to help each other create their visions for their lives—whether that’s through supporting them in their careers or nurturing community, creativity, body, or spirit.
The name comes from my beautiful friend, Chery: gossiping can be controversial. Yet, historically, women’s power was rooted in their roles as gatekeepers of information—of herbal remedies and spurned marriage proposals. For centuries, women have kept information safe, traded it like currency, and shared it in a way that speaks to an inherently human (and perhaps feminine) desire to see and be seen.
With that, let’s get into the goss.

Ella is a multi-hyphenate whose latest project is Layermor, a clean fragrance brand offering non-toxic scents with 100% ingredient transparency. Reach out to ella@layermor.com, if you’re interested in partnerships—particularly if you have leads on wholesale opportunities.
Halfway through my pregnancy, I realized that I should be more thoughtful about what I was putting on my face and body, because it *could* get to le bébé. Through resources like the EWG and Think Dirty, I Frankensteined together a clean-ish routine (PSA: Drunk Elephant uses synthetic fragrances), but what I really needed was Sorette. Founded by Lanning, Sorette is the first credentialing platform for the motherhood market, offering a science-backed Seal of Approval that ensures product safety and efficacy for moms and families. If you’re interested in investing, send an email to Lanning at lanning@shopsorette.com.

Recommendations
A2 whole milk: This Peter Attia episode reinforced my decision to start choosing cow’s milk over alternative milks. A2 milk is easier to digest and gentler on the stomach. Women are at higher risk for calcium deficiencies due to age-related bone density loss (almost 20% of women die from falling every year!). Combining calcium with vitamin D is better for absorption—which is why milk is fortified with vitamin D—so take both supplements together if you’re going that route.
Roz haircare: A friend and I stumbled upon the Credo sale and both walked out with Roz shampoo. We don’t agree on many things but we agree vehemently that our hair has never smelled better or felt softer.
We believe in acupuncture! There’s a lot of snake oil out there, but if you’re based in Los Angeles, I can’t recommend Adam Griffin enough. A former professional basketball player who spent time in China, he helped a friend with endometriosis get pregnant naturally. He helps me with the tension I hold in my jaw (and shoulders and back and). If you’re in the Bay Area, check out Blue Ova.
Spend five days during the off-season in Norway (right now!). Union Øye gives you one free night and takes care of everything while you’re there.

Lexi is hosting a wellness event at The Proper Hotel on November 6th. We love a Proper Hotel rooftop moment.
I had so many anxieties about whether I was moving my body correctly when I was pregnant—and it turned out that most studio instructors had no idea either. Personal trainer (and former celebrity Barry’s instructor!), Nichole, is hosting a pre/postnatal fitness class on November 16th.
People’s choice kid-friendly restaurants in Los Angeles include Gjusta, Cloverfield, Taverna, Pitfire, The Sunset.
Asks
Three asks for essentially the same thing: how do we navigate motherhood with a demanding career? How do we dual track our career rise with growing our family?
Specifically, a call for moms in leadership roles who can speak to advocating for their career progression, and/or related resources.
That’s it for this first run.
Since we’re just getting off the ground, I can promise that it’ll only get better. Let me know what you think, what you’d like to see more or less of. And if you have good gossip to share, send it in 💞.
Congratulations on your Inaugural Issue! I feel better informed and more empowered and connected already 💖
